This weekend, Ezekiel’s Wheels has a mini-tour lined up with three big shows in New York City, New Jersey, and Massachusetts over the course of two days.
On Sunday (July 23rd), we’ll be starting early and playing for the City Winery Klezmer Brunch Series. Every week, the City Winery brings in great musicians to perform and playing this weekend is actually partial fulfillment of one the prizes we won at the International Jewish Music Festival in Amsterdam this past October. Doors open at 10 am, we’ll be playing from 11 am until noon, breaking while the audience eats, and then playing another set from 1 until 2 pm. Tickets are $10.
After we finish at the City Winery, we’re headed out to Caldwell, NJ. Congregation Agudath Israel has generously offered to host a concert and we’re excited that it fits into this trip. Doors will open around 6:30 pm and we’ll begin at 7 pm. Tickets are also $10.
After our two performances on Sunday, we’re headed back up to Boston so we’ll be ready for another exciting show on Monday night (June 24th). We’ll be playing at the Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline–it’s a large, historic movie theater that also hosts live music. We’ll be playing as part of their Onstage @ the Coolidge series. The concert starts at 7 pm and is $15 general admission, $12 for member tickets.
