Thanks to the two feet of snow that’s been covering my neighborhood (and much of the northeast) for the weekend, the rehearsals and work-related stuff I had planned were replaced by making tons of cookies with my housemate and repeatedly shoveling snow off of my car. Overall it was a nice break, especially since the coming week is going to be pretty busy. Here’s where I’ll be playing:
On Wednesday morning and Thursday evening (February 13th and 14th), I’m looking forward to playing in the pit for the Aristocats, which is being performed by a whole bunch of elementary school students at the Arlington Center for the Arts.
Also on Thursday (February 14th), after the Aristocats show, I’ll be making my way over to John Harvard’s Brew House in Harvard Square to play the first of three Cold Chocolate shows this week. We’re playing from 9:30 until midnight, come spend your Valentine’s Day with us!
On Friday (February 15th), to continue the weekend’s Cold Chocolate mini-tour of the greater Boston region, we’ll be headed down to Providence, RI to play at The Apartment. We’ll be playing at 8 pm.
Saturday (February 16th) in the afternoon, I’m excited to be playing at the Joe Val Bluegrass Festival with Cold Chocolate. Every year the festival takes over the Sharaton in Framingham, MA for a weekend-long bluegrass party. We’ll be playing on the Showcase Stage at 1:45 pm.
Also on Saturday (February 16th), I’ll be subbing with Patrick Coman and the Lo-fi Angels at the Armory in Somerville for their Winter Gala. The event starts at 7 pm and we’ll be playing around 10 pm.
Besides from those gigs, I’m also practicing as much as I can for my NEC audition, which is now just eight days away! I’m also finishing up booking for the Ezekiel’s Wheels April tour, so stay tuned for more information about that as well.
