Ezekiel’s Wheels at the library!

It’s good to be back in Boston after a long weekend of bluegrass, camping in a barn, and eating huge quantities of hummus. Now that I am sufficiently sick of anything involving banjos and guitars, it’s the perfect time for some klezmer!

Tomorrow evening (Tuesday, July 31st), Ezekiel’s Wheels Klezmer Band is going to be playing a set at the Faneuil Branch Public Library, located at 419 Faneuil Street in Brighton. We played here a while back and it was great–the library has a whole summer-long concert series with performances in their backyard. We’ll be playing from 6:30 until 7:30, and we’ll have copies of our new EP available!

  1. you’re right, Alex, it was a low blow to the banjo in favor of my attempt to segue between bluegrass and klezmer… but I hope you are well! I will be in NYC a couple times this summer, if you are back there it’d be great to see you. Or feel free to come to Boston! I’ll be in touch.

  2. your local chapter of the banjo picker’s union protests! but ODing on bluegrass can melt the brain. I miss you, Kirsten! Enjoy the rest of your summer.
