Ezekiel’s Wheels at the library!

It’s good to be back in Boston after a long weekend of bluegrass, camping in a barn, and eating huge quantities of hummus. Now that I am sufficiently sick of anything involving banjos and guitars, it’s the perfect time for some klezmer!

Tomorrow evening (Tuesday, July 31st), Ezekiel’s Wheels Klezmer Band is going to be playing a set at the Faneuil Branch Public Library, located at 419 Faneuil Street in Brighton. We played here a while back and it was great–the library has a whole summer-long concert series with performances in their backyard. We’ll be playing from 6:30 until 7:30, and we’ll have copies of our new EP available!

  1. your local chapter of the banjo picker’s union protests! but ODing on bluegrass can melt the brain. I miss you, Kirsten! Enjoy the rest of your summer.

    • you’re right, Alex, it was a low blow to the banjo in favor of my attempt to segue between bluegrass and klezmer… but I hope you are well! I will be in NYC a couple times this summer, if you are back there it’d be great to see you. Or feel free to come to Boston! I’ll be in touch.
